Thomas Clarkson Community College 

ACP was part of the inspiredspaces team that came a close second on Cambridgeshire BSF. ACP designed Thomas Clarkson Community College, one of the two sample schools, and also acted as Design Champion on the second sample school. The bid requirements were to replace 70% of the existing 1800 student college while keeping it open and fully operational throughout the works. The unusual brief was to organise the new college into three Learning Communities, to provide a large Community Theatre and to create an internal “green” space with some of the qualities of the Eden Project. more
